Campbellford Memorial Multicare Lodge provides a variety of affordable accommodation options for seniors. With 49 apartment units, it includes one and two bedroom apartments tastefully decorated and designed for independent living where tenants add their own furnishings.
Mission Statement
Courtyard
Our courtyard is scooter, walker and wheelchair accessible so that everyone can enjoy the beautiful gardens. The courtyard also features a wheelchair accessible picnic table, regular tables, chairs, benches for tenant enjoyment, as well as an electric barbecue used by the Tenant Association for events.
Emergency Response – Lifeline (Computerized On-Site System)
At the push of a button (wrist band or neck cord with button) tenants on the Supportive Housing Program have an immediate response by staff on-site, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Meal Program
Meals offered include lunch and dinner and can be custom ordered to meet individual needs. For instance, lunch and dinner can be ordered daily or just a dinner meal can be ordered three times a week. Meals are designed to meet the various needs of the tenants and are delivered to their apartment in insulated trays. Diabetic, Healthy Heart, Minced and Regular menus are available.
Portable Remote Door Openers
A push of a button allows tenants to access their apartment, assisting those who require this service to enter and exit their apartment independently.
Security
Tenants have the reassurance of a safe and secure living environment since each apartment is equipped with an emergency response system. When activated, two buttons located in each apartment unit ensure assistance is on the way.
Social/Recreational Program
There are a variety of social opportunities available to our tenants. Some activities include social suppers, entertainment and card parties. Movie nights, shuffleboard, quilting and guest speakers are also part of our social calendar.
Supportive Housing Program
Assistance is provided with homemaking, personal support and attendant care for tenants on the Supportive Housing Program.
Tenants Association
The Tenants Association is made up of all tenants who live at the Lodge. It meets once a month (except July and August) to discuss and plan upcoming events.
Wheel in Shower Facility
Access to the wheel in shower facility is available, giving tenants the ability to shower independently or with assistance. Personal care needs can be met in tenants’ apartments or in the wheel in shower facility.
