Services

Professional staff provide an array of clinical services to individuals, families and groups, including consultation to other agencies and community education on mental health. Crisis intervention, psychiatric consultation, assessment and treatment, psychosocial rehabilitation, counselling, clinical case management, support and education services are provided to those suffering from a wide range of mental health problems such as:

  • Clinical
  • Depression
  • Psychosis
  • Anxiety Disorders 

Groups are offered based on various mental health needs. The Family Support Group meets regularly each month in the evening and is open to family members and friends of persons living with mental illness. People interested in this group are asked to call the Community Mental Health Centre.

Mental Health Court Support & Diversion
The Campbellford & District Community Mental Health Centre is responsible for the Mental Health Court Support Program within Northumberland County. This is a cooperative program between the criminal justice system and the mental health system that provides direct service and support to individuals who have a serious mental health and who have been charged with a minor offence.

Early Psychosis Intervention

Lynx Early Psychosis Intervention offers assessment, treatment, support and education for individuals and their families experiencing the early stages of psychosis.  www.lynxtracks.ca

How to Obtain Services
Referrals by physicians, hospitals and community agencies are preferred, however, self-referrals are also accepted. All referrals are reviewed and priority is given to the most serious and critical referrals. Referral Forms are available from the Centre. If you wish to refer yourself, please call the Centre directly.
