Polar Plunge

Support the hospital at the Polar Bear Plunge on January 24, 2026 at 12-noon
The Annual Polar Bear Plunge, organized by the Auxiliary to the Campbellford Memorial Hospital, is one of the community’s most cherished and enduring fundraising traditions. Now celebrating its 34th consecutive year, this exhilarating winter event continues to bring together brave participants, enthusiastic supporters, and generous donors, all in support of quality healthcare in our local hospital.
Held each year on the fourth Saturday in January beginning at noon at the Lion’s Club Community Park on County Road 50, right here in Campbellford, the Polar Bear Plunge challenges participants to take an icy dip into the Trent River in the heart of winter. While the water may be cold, the spirit of the event is anything but, with the community’s warmth and excitement creating an unforgettable atmosphere year after year.
Following the Plunge, a warm lunch will be available at the Christ Anglican Church, 154 Kent St, Campbellford, ON K0L 1L0
