Laboratory Overview

At Campbellford Memorial Hospital, our Laboratory provides timely, accurate testing to support diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease, helping you and your care team make informed decisions as quickly as possible. In this section, you’ll find details about available tests and procedures, how to book, and what to know before your visit.

All tests and procedures are performed by qualified laboratory technologists using state-of-the-art, computerized instrumentation. Our comprehensive services are available 24/7/365 to support inpatient and urgent care needs, with outpatient services offered during regular hours.

The lab processes tests across multiple areas, including Chemistry, Haematology, Microbiology, Transfusion Medicine, Serology, Pathology, and Cytology. We are the only local laboratory service within our broad catchment area. You’ll find the Laboratory on the main floor, behind the Emergency Department — follow the red arrows on the floor once you come through the main entrance.

Out-patient testing is available: Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
