Future Location
The future home of the redeveloped Campbellford Memorial Hospital will be located on a 48-acre property on County Road 30, immediately west of Campbellford. This site was made possible through the remarkably generous donation of land from Jim Curle and his family, a gift that reflects a deep commitment to the wellbeing of our community today, and for decades to come.
The size and landscape of this property provide the space needed to create a Campus of Care: a thoughtfully designed environment where health services, housing, and community supports are connected in one location. The site offers room not only for the new hospital and long-term care home, but also for greenspace, therapeutic outdoor environments, accessible pathways, and future growth.
While the redevelopment process includes several planning and design stages, securing the land allows us to move forward with confidence, engage formally in site planning, and ensure the campus is designed intentionally to support patient flow, staff efficiency, emergency access, and community needs.

What Will Be Located on the Campus of Care
Once complete, the Campus of Care is planned to include:
-
New Hospital
Purpose-built to meet today’s standards for safety, accessibility, infection control, privacy, and modern models of care. -
New Long-Term Care Home
Providing residents with comfortable, modern living environments and stronger connections to health services and community supports. -
Community Mental Health Clinic
Ensuring accessible, confidential, and local mental health services close to home. -
Geriatric Assessment & Intervention Network (GAIN) Clinic
Supporting older adults with complex health needs through coordinated assessment and care planning. -
Supportive Senior Housing (Future Phase)
Creating opportunities for seniors to live independently while staying connected to services, care, and community.
This location gives us space to build for the future, flexibility to grow as needs evolve, and the opportunity to create a modern health environment that reflects who we are as a community — compassionate, connected, and committed to care close to home.
